Delhi
Day01 :
Delhi
Meet and assist on arrival by our Tour Executive. Check in the hotel
for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 :
Delhi
After breakfast, head on a guided tour of Old and New Delhi.
New Delhi : It includes Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple), Humayun's Tomb,
the Qutab Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate and Parliamentary
Street

Old Delhi : The city was founded by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
It includes Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat and the famous Chandni
Chowk (Crowded street of Old Delhi) in a rickshaw ride –an
overwhelming experience for our guest. Later transfer to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 03 :
Delhi – Jaipur(260kms)
Early Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur.Arrive Jaipur and
transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 :
Jaipur
Early Morning after breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort:
At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital
of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man
Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb example
of Rajput architecture. Elephant ride from the foothills of the
Aravallis to the fort entrance Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit
the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of
art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the
observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of
Hawa Mahal.
Day 05 :
Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Early Morning after breakfast drive to Agra enroute visit Fateh Pur
Sikri.Arrive Agra and transfer to hotel. Later visit Agra Fort and
shopping .Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 :
Agra
Early Morning after breakfast proceed to visit one of the seventh
wonder of the world and most beautiful monuments in India—Taj Mahal.-Memory
of Love. After a visit to the Taj Mahal, head to the Agra Fort. The
fort was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar.Later Transfer to the
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 :
Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho
Morning after breakfast proceed your journey to khajuraho , en-route
visiting Orchha which is a medieval
cityfounded by Bundela rulers with palaces & temples of the 16th &

local Ram Raja temple. After lunch, continue drive to Khajuraho,

Day 08 :
Khajuraho
After breakfast ,proceed for city sightseeing of Khajuraho, built by
the warrior Chandela dynasty that rose to power in Central India
between 10th & 11th centuries, the 25 odd surving temples display
different facets of life, including the sensual. These erotic
carvings on some panels have given rise to much speculation since
Khajuraho’s re-discovery by a British officer in 1838. Visit the
eastern & western group of temples famous for their erotic
sculptures. Evening at will be leisure and overnight stay will be
hotel.
Day 09:
Khajuraho - Varanasi
Morning after breakfast in the hotel you will be proceed for your
journey to Varanasi. In evening check-in to hotel at Varanasi.
Evening will be at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 :
Varanasi
Varanasi was formerly known as Kashi – the city that illuminates.
The religious capital of Hinduism, Varanasi is the oldest living
city of India & one of the worlds’ most ancient. The present name is
derived from the fact that the city is at the confluence of the
rivers Varuna & Asi. After breakfast, take excursion to Sarnath -
the buried
Buddhist city where Buddha preached his
first sermon. After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went
to Sarnath, and it was here that he preached his first discourse in the
deer park to set in motion the 'Wheel of the Dharma'. It is one of the
most holy sites as in this place the stream of the Buddha's teaching
first flowed. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 16th
century BC to 12th century AD. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist
temple & the museum (closed on Friday). At the museum is the Ashok
Pillar with its four guardian lions, used as independent Indias’
national emblem.Evening at leisure & overnight stay.
Day 11 :
Varanasi
In early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing
Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen
from a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. Return to hotel for
breakfast. After breakfast, city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat
Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple,
Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery &
the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb. In afternoon, take excursion to
Ramnagar. Return by boat in the evening, enroute witness the religious
ceremonies along the banks of river Ganges. Overnight stay will be at
hotel.
Day 12 :
Varanasi - Delhi
After breakfast, you will be free for individual activities. Afternoon,
transfer to the airport to board flight scheduled to depart to Delhi for
your onwards journey with unforgettable memories of India in your heart |
