Kumbhalgarh, a Mewar fort situated in the western Aravali hills, is the birthplace of the great ancient king and warrior Maharana Pratap. The place was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2013. The fort is the second largest fort in India after Chittorgarh Fort. Ganesh Temple, Parsva Nath temple and the Lakhola tank are the most notable places inside the fort.
